Terms + Conditions


The following terms and conditions govern the use of THE GOOD PET HOME™ website.  By visiting our site and / or purchasing an item you are bound to these terms.  If you do not comply with these terms, you may not use THE GOOD PET HOME™ site.

We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and / or changes to our website. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes. THE GOOD PET HOME™ makes no warranties in relation to the merchantability, fitness for purpose, freedom from computer virus, accuracy or availability of this website or any other website.


Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. 

Prices for our products are subject to change without notice.

All pricing displayed one THE GOOD PET HOME™ online store is in New Zealand dollars (NZD) and includes G.ST.  Shipping costs are excluded. The price advertised may not be the same price that is displayed on your credit card due to fees or exchange rates for international orders. You will be billed in NZD.

We accept payment by Afterpay or credit cards Visa, MasterCard and AMEX.  We also accept Visa and MasterCard debit cards. Payments are processed by Shopify payments and no card details are stored.

We must receive payment in full before your order can be processed.


THE GOOD PET HOME™ ships to NZ and Australia.  We will not be liable for any importation taxes or additional sales charges on the goods sent outside of New Zealand.  Unfortunately we do not deliver to PO Boxes.

All orders are sent via courier to ensure delivery to your door.  Please allow up to 6 days for delivery on in stock items. For Australian orders please allow approximately 10 days.  If an item is out of stock we will advise you of an approximate delivery date at which time you can accept or cancel your order.  

For exclusive order items, we anticipate shipping times to be approximate 8 weeks and we will update you on the progress of your order which you can cancel any time prior up until to the final dispatch date.  

We will endeavour to get your order to you as soon as possible, however the delivery times outlined are approximate timeframes and we cannot accept responsibilities for delays due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. Covid -19, strikes, natural disasters, custom clearance).

If you haven't received your parcel after the expected delivery time, please email hello@thegoodpethome.com with your order details and we will be more than happy to look into it for you.


Sorry, but we do not offer returns or exchanges on sale items.  Please choose carefully.

If you're unhappy about your order for any reason, it can be returned or exchanged providing its in a saleable condition.  We will refund or exchange the product to the value of the price it was purchased at, providing we have received the product within 14 days and you have processed your request within 7 days of making your purchase.  Returns or exchanges outside of this timeframe will not be accepted.  We will not accept returns for any non-faulty items that have been used.

Please ensure you check all goods upon receipt for any damage.  You can make your request to hello@thegoodpethome.com  Shipping costs will not be refunded.  The cost of the return shipping and shipping on an exchanged item will be your responsibility unless the item sent was incorrect or is faulty.  The exchanged item will be sent once the returned product has been received and any additional costs paid. 

For international orders, THE GOOD PET HOME™ will not take any responsibility for damage products in transit or wrongly ordered products.  All shipping and sales taxes will not be refunded.  Please choose carefully before ordering.


We want your beloved pets to play in a safe environment. Always supervise your dog or cat when playing with toys.  THE GOOD PET HOME™ will not be liable for any veterinarian or related costs in relation to your pet playing with toys purchased on this website. 


We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Service, use of the Service, or access to the Service or any contact on the website through which the service is provided, without express written permission by us. 


Certain products or services may be available exclusively online through the website. These products or services may have limited quantities and are subject to return or exchange only according to our Return Policy.

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours and images of our products that appear at the store. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor's display of any colour will be accurate. All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at anytime without notice, at the sole discretion of us. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. 


We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and / or orders that use the same billing and / or shipping address. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the e-mail and / or billing address / phone number provided at the time the order was made. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors.

You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store. 


Third-party links on this site may direct you to third-party websites that are not affiliated with us. We are not responsible for examining or evaluating the content or accuracy and we do not warrant and will not have any liability or responsibility for any third-party materials or websites, or for any other materials, products, or services of third-parties.  Complaints, claims, concerns, or questions regarding third-party products should be directed to the third-party.


THE GOOD PET HOME™ owns all copyright and other intellectual property on this site.  You cannot re-use any of the content displayed without our permission and the site cannot be altered in any way.  All trade marks and logos used on this site are the property of THE GOOD PET HOME™ and third parties and cannot be used without prior consent.  All MiaCara images used on this site are (c) MiaCara.


Your privacy at THE GOOD PET HOME™ is important to us. Your submission of personal information through the store is governed by our Privacy Policy.  The information we collect is used for the purpose to process your order and to keep in touch with you.

If you've subscribed to our mailing list which is optional and you're having problems unsubscribing, please email hello@thegoodpethome.com and in the subject line write Unsubscribe.  We will then remove you from the list.

Payments are securely processed by Shopify payments.  


Occasionally there may be information on our site or in the Service that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, product shipping charges, transit times and availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions, and to change or update information or cancel orders if any information in the Service or on any related website is inaccurate at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order).


These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand.
